Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies across a mixed patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Administer contrast safely and perform venipuncture as needed following facility protocols
• Operate Siemens CT scanners and Bracco contrast injectors with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Respond effectively in a busy OR and Level 1 trauma environment, prioritizing tasks under shifting demands
• Conduct CT angiography, cardiac CT, and perfusion studies when required
• Document procedures accurately in EPIC and manage images in McKesson PACS
• Float to support MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound areas as staffing needs dictate
• Uphold radiation safety (radiation badge provided) and adhere to patient care policies and infection-control standards

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) required; ARRT-CT preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years CT experience with Level 1 trauma experience
• Travel assignment experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for submittal (radius rule applies)
• Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture and contrast administration
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills; ability to manage multiple priorities

Education

• Associate degree (or completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program)
• ARRT (R) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Siemens CT scanner operation and Bracco contrast injector systems
• Experienced with EPIC for charting and McKesson for PACS image management
• Skilled in CT angiography, cardiac CT, perfusion imaging, and trauma imaging
• Comfortable performing X-ray and basic ultrasound procedures if needed
• Solid patient assessment, phlebotomy, and high-acuity clinical decision-making
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and float between units
