Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting with dignity and compassion
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support mobility and transfer tasks safely using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Provide consistent, patient-centered care while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
• Document care given and observations clearly and promptly in the patient record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to help keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Class: CNA) — must be eligible to work in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable working 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM evening shifts on a per-diem basis
• Compassionate attitude and strong patient-care focus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility protocols
• Prior CNA experience is a plus but caring attitude and a willingness to learn matter most

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility assistance
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Comfort with documentation and following care plans
