Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures for residents
• Assist nursing team with care plans and report changes in condition clearly
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
• Build rapport with patients and families to promote dignity and emotional support

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or T-CNA certification
• Certification must be valid for practice in the assignment state
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable with 12+ hour day shifts and working Tue-Wed-Thu
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs, feeding, bathing, toileting, and mobility
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observing patient condition
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safe patient handling
• Good time management, documentation, and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with patients and families
