Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Accurately document resident status, observations, and care given
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to help implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
- Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience a plus but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living) and resident-centered care
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with residents and staff
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
