Shift Type: Per diem night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care and support patient comfort
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
- Document care activities and observations clearly in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to promote quality outcomes
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
- Current state CNA certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Basic life support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Pass a background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-centered approach
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient hygiene, ADLs, and basic restorative care
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and intake/output
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety procedures
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to follow care plans, ask questions, and escalate concerns appropriately
