Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
- Monitor and record resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
- Follow care plans and document interventions accurately and timely
- Support a clean, safe, and respectful living environment for residents
- Communicate effectively and kindly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Eligible for or listed on the Pennsylvania CNA registry
- Availability to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) on a per diem basis
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to resident-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
- Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling principles
- Ability to take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
- Good documentation and time-management skills
- Comfortable working as part of a fast-paced care team
