Shift Type: Rotating nights (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight, 12.5-hour shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents according to care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, documenting each intervention
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team promptly
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care
- Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and safety measures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with facility policies
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning as needed
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — ability to practice in New Mexico preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable preferred
- Clinical experience in long-term care, medical-surgical, or similar settings preferred
- Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or vocational nursing diploma
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and documentation skills
- Ability to assess and report changes in patient condition
- Familiarity with long-term care routines, wound care, and ADL support
- Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Comfort with electronic health record systems and basic computer use
- Effective interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
