Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care by assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
- Document care accurately and maintain resident confidentiality
- Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, person-centered environment
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Per diem availability and comfort working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED and CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Taking and reporting vital signs accurately
- Infection control and proper use of PPE
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Effective team communication and resident advocacy
