Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support safe mobility and transfer needs using proper technique
• Help create a comfortable, dignified environment through respectful, person-centered care
• Document care and observations clearly to support the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with meal service and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met during assigned shifts
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver timely, coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Local candidate or commuter — reliable personal transportation required (facility specifically notes Uber is NOT accepted)
• Available for the full assignment period: 2026-03-02 to 2026-06-15
• Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting and following facility policies

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
• Competent in obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with residents and the care team
• Awareness of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced care environment
