Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene while promoting dignity
- Document care and observations accurately and timely in facility records
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive appropriate nourishment
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
- Active authorization to work in the United States — required
- Comfortable working evenings; per diem availability for 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shifts
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
- Willingness to pass standard facility checks such as background and TB screening
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safe transfer techniques
- Teamwork mindset and good interpersonal communication
