Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/Night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nurse
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Help create comforting, person-centered experiences that preserve dignity
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Minimum one year of direct care experience preferred but new CNAs are welcome
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background/health checks
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to accept per diem shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification in lieu of advanced degree
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident-centered care and basic nursing procedures
- Skill in assisting with ADLs and safe transfer techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Good communication, time management, and observational skills
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
