Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care with compassion and clinical excellence
• Perform timely patient assessments and implement nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Respond to emergencies and apply trauma and stroke protocols as needed
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical readiness
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• TNCC certification and NIHSS competency preferred or required per unit
• Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and Trinity skills checklist
• Required pre-employment health clearances including Fit Test, 10-panel drug screen, immunizations and health statement

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN licensure; clinical training consistent with required certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Familiarity with trauma care principles and TNCC best practices
• Proficiency with stroke assessment using NIHSS
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic clinical environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families and clinical staff
• Attention to detail for documentation and adherence to compliance requirements
