Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care with compassion and clinical excellence
- Perform timely patient assessments and implement nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
- Respond to emergencies and apply trauma and stroke protocols as needed
- Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical readiness
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (License/Certificate Verification required)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- TNCC certification and NIHSS competency preferred or required per unit
- Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and Trinity skills checklist
- Required pre-employment health clearances including Fit Test, 10-panel drug screen, immunizations and health statement
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN licensure; clinical training consistent with required certifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Familiarity with trauma care principles and TNCC best practices
- Proficiency with stroke assessment using NIHSS
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic clinical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families and clinical staff
- Attention to detail for documentation and adherence to compliance requirements
