Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients across Livingston and Washtenaw counties
- Provide skilled OT interventions focused on functional independence, ADLs, mobility, and safety
- Document care clearly and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the rehab team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and strategies to maximize independence
- Participate in required Trinity competency testing, skills checklists, and fit testing to maintain clinical standards
- Maintain compliance with vaccination and screening requirements and support facility onboarding processes
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license (state licensure verification required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience using EPIC for documentation preferred
- Willingness to complete Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to complete Fit Test, respirator evaluation, 10-panel drug screen, and required immunizations/PPD or IGRA
- Comfort working day shifts and traveling locally between Livingston and Washtenaw County sites
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, and ADL training
- Proficient documentation practices, ideally using EPIC
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and care coordination
- Knowledge of safety, mobility, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning
- Familiarity with infection control, vaccination compliance, and occupational health screening
- Comfort with competency-based testing and maintaining required clinical certifications
