Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams, ensuring clear, diagnostic images
• Position patients accurately and apply best practices for radiation safety
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to prioritize patient care
• Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and report malfunctions
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records following HIPAA guidelines
• Provide compassionate patient education and reassurance during procedures
• Adhere to departmental policies, infection control, and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — may be obtained upon hire if needed
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred (nice-to-have)
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA
• Patient-focused communication and comfort with diverse populations
• Good clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
