Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Days, 12-hour shifts, minimal call)

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general radiography exams, including portable X-rays and ED imaging, with attention to patient comfort and image quality
- Operate and troubleshoot department equipment including GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu systems
- Document exams and communicate findings in EPIC and McKesson PACS with accuracy and timeliness
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain required monitoring and records
- Collaborate with radiologists, transporters, and the care team to ensure efficient patient flow and timely results
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with basic equipment checks and maintenance
- Deliver compassionate patient care, including proper positioning, education, and infection control practices
Qualifications
- WA State DOH imaging license in hand (must have before start)
- ARRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist (registration required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Radiation badge required (traveler responsible for badge; facility does not provide)
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Minimum around 2 years of radiography experience (job lists 2 years), experience in larger fast-paced hospitals preferred
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (associate degree or equivalent) and ARRT registration
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven skills in general radiography and portable X-ray techniques
- Comfortable working in Emergency Department imaging settings
- Proficient with McKesson PACS and EPIC charting systems
- Experience with GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu radiology equipment
- Strong patient communication, positioning, and infection control practices
- Ability to handle a variable caseload (approximately 20-50 studies per day) while maintaining quality
