Shift Type: Weekdays, four 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, plus one weekday call and a weekend call every 4–5 weeks (day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate and provide teching support during advanced endoscopic procedures such as EUS and ERCP
- Prepare the procedure room, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth, efficient cases
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC and maintain thorough procedural records
- Monitor patient status in the acute care setting, responding promptly to changes and escalations
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the care team to deliver safe, patient-centered care
- Participate in orientation activities and demonstrate competency on the orientation exam
- Adhere to infection control and unit policies, including fingernail/artificial nail standards
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Nebraska
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (endoscopy/GI or acute care preferred)
- Strong circulating and teching experience for advanced endoscopic procedures (EUS, ERCP)
- Familiarity with EPIC charting; recent EPIC experience within 6 months preferred
- Experience with CHI or Dignity Health systems is a plus
- Ability to complete orientation requirements and pass the open-book competency exam (90% pass threshold)
- Willingness to comply with unit policies (for example, no artificial nails) and required onboarding timelines (RTO within 7 days for this 13-week assignment)
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven circulating and teching skills in Endoscopy/GI
- Hands-on experience with advanced endoscopic procedures including EUS and ERCP
- Proficient EPIC documentation and electronic charting skills
- Strong acute care assessment and patient monitoring abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural suite
- Understanding of infection control practices and peri-procedural safety
