Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults, preserving dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the nursing team
- Help create a warm, engaging environment by participating in activities and encouraging social interaction
- Adhere to infection control practices and facility protocols to keep residents safe
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working in long-term care or geriatric settings; experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility-required onboarding
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently when needed
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and age-related health issues
- Proficiency with ADLs, safe resident handling, and transfer techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Good documentation practices and clear verbal communication
- Infection prevention and control procedures
- Team collaboration and following care plans
