Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Support mealtime and hydration needs, including safe feeding assistance when required
• Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents and their families
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current LNA/license as required by New Hampshire (Licensed Nursing Assistant)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain promptly)
• Comfortable working a 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM schedule and able to commit to a 5-day local schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-first attitude
• Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus but eager, caring candidates will be considered

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care standards
• Ability to safely assist with transfers, ambulation and mobility aids
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and clinical teams
