Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies safely and accurately, following cancer care policies
• Assess patients' health histories and ongoing status, monitoring both physical and emotional wellbeing
• Triage and prioritize patient care needs, acting as the primary conduit of communication with physicians
• Provide patient and family education on treatment, symptom management, and safety
• Perform in-office procedures and closely monitor patients throughout infusion visits
• Document care and communications clearly and promptly in EPIC
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection control initiatives within Cancer Care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable jurisdiction
• Minimum 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience (required)
• Proven EPIC experience (required)
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration certification (required)
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience with patient education and triage
• BLS (Basic Life Support) current — preferred

Education

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

• EPIC clinical documentation and workflow proficiency
