Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies safely and accurately, following cancer care policies
- Assess patients' health histories and ongoing status, monitoring both physical and emotional wellbeing
- Triage and prioritize patient care needs, acting as the primary conduit of communication with physicians
- Provide patient and family education on treatment, symptom management, and safety
- Perform in-office procedures and closely monitor patients throughout infusion visits
- Document care and communications clearly and promptly in EPIC
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection control initiatives within Cancer Care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable jurisdiction
- Minimum 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience (required)
- Proven EPIC experience (required)
- ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration certification (required)
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience with patient education and triage
- BLS (Basic Life Support) current — preferred
Education
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

- EPIC clinical documentation and workflow proficiency
- Infection control and safe handling of cytotoxic agents
