Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support RNs and LVNs by performing assigned nursing tasks and monitoring resident status
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and hygiene to preserve dignity and comfort
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and the care team
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
• Document care and observations accurately using basic computer/charting tools
• Support recreational and social activities to enhance resident quality of life

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certificate (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Skilled nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (required)
• Ability to work day shifts and be available for weekend coverage
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
• Clear verbal and written English communication and strong interpersonal skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
