Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and document medication administration accurately
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team promptly
- Maintain clear, timely charting and accurate electronic health records
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and well-being
- Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership to ensure quality care and smooth shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico or compact/reciprocal status as applicable
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Local candidates only (contract local) — must be able to commute to Santa Fe
- Available to start ASAP, ideally within two weeks; assignment runs 2026-03-01 to 2026-03-28
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and basic clinical skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Basic electronic health record (EHR) navigation and charting
