Roles & Responsibilities

• Direct regional pharmacy operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant medication services
• Lead the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs
• Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership to analyze problems and develop operational solutions and budgets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with medical staff and interdepartmental partners to optimize patient care
• Oversee pharmacy information systems, inventory control, and charge systems to ensure operational integrity
• Participate on Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems, and Patient Medication Safety committees
• Manage human resources duties including hiring, staff development, performance evaluation, and when needed, corrective actions
• Monitor productivity, partner engagement, and patient outcomes and adjust plans to meet targets

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited college or university (required)
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience
• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license (required)
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a health-system pharmacy
• Demonstrated experience with pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and budget/financial oversight
• Strong leadership, communication, and committee participation experience

Education

• PharmD from an accredited college or university
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration preferred (or equivalent experience)
