Roles & Responsibilities
- Direct regional pharmacy operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant medication services
- Lead the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs
- Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership to analyze problems and develop operational solutions and budgets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with medical staff and interdepartmental partners to optimize patient care
- Oversee pharmacy information systems, inventory control, and charge systems to ensure operational integrity
- Participate on Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems, and Patient Medication Safety committees
- Manage human resources duties including hiring, staff development, performance evaluation, and when needed, corrective actions
- Monitor productivity, partner engagement, and patient outcomes and adjust plans to meet targets
Qualifications
- PharmD degree from an accredited college or university (required)
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience
- Active Wisconsin pharmacist license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a health-system pharmacy
- Demonstrated experience with pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and budget/financial oversight
- Strong leadership, communication, and committee participation experience
Education
- PharmD from an accredited college or university
- ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration preferred (or equivalent experience)

- Regulatory compliance and hospital pharmacy legal requirements
- Budgeting, financial planning, and operational analytics
