Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts (schedule varies), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with night and weekend on-call responsibilities (rotating)

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Prepare patients and the OR environment for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure smooth case flow
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to infection prevention standards
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care accurately and support transitions to post-anesthesia care
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture that prioritizes patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (eligible to practice in Colorado)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN with operating room experience
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts with night and weekend on-call responsibilities
- Current BLS certification; perioperative certifications preferred if available
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique
- Patient assessment and intraoperative monitoring
- Familiarity with OR equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Ability to prioritize in fast-paced surgical settings
- Clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
