Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab environment and GE imaging rooms to the highest safety and sterility standards
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including angiography, stent placement, and balloon angioplasty
• Operate and optimize GE Innova imaging systems and support documentation in Meditech and MacLab
• Scrub, circulate and provide direct technical support during special procedures and ENT cases when needed
• Monitor patient status, communicate changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team to deliver excellent patient-centered care
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond promptly to emergent cases to support 24/7 service availability
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and share best practices with the Cath Lab team

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab or special procedures experience
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT credential required
• Demonstrated competency with Special Procedures and GE Innova imaging systems
• Comfortable using Meditech and MacLab for clinical documentation
• Ability to work day shifts and participate in frequent on-call coverage
• RCIS certification preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and angiographic techniques
• Proficient with GE Innova imaging equipment and room workflows
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab electronic documentation
• Skilled in sterile technique, scrubbing, and assisting during interventional cases
• Ability to think critically under pressure and prioritize patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
