Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights); schedule includes weekends (must work at least 4 weekends per schedule period)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional critical care to adult ICU patients, keeping safety and dignity front and center
- Manage complex lines and airways including central lines, arterial lines, and assist with intubation
- Operate and troubleshoot standard ICU equipment and ventilators as needed
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Prioritize patients effectively within an estimated 2:1 ratio to ensure excellent outcomes
- Support core staff with EVD and specialty patient care when required
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (TX licensure or compact status recommended)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred
- Comfortable caring for oncology, neuro, or BMT patients is a plus
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and compassionate patient focus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active RN license
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing and ICU workflows
- Central line and arterial line management
- Intubation support and ventilator familiarity
- Meditech EMR documentation and charting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Flexibility to float across ICUs, BMT, and PCU floors
