Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to perform contrast and non-contrast studies with precision and patient comfort in mind
- Prepare patients for MRI exams by reviewing history, screening for safety, and explaining procedures clearly
- Collaborate with the radiology team and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality imaging
- Use GE MRI systems and Cerner documentation to capture and record accurate imaging and patient data
- Adhere to all safety protocols and MRI certification standards to protect patients and staff
- Assist with specialty procedures such as Breast MRI when needed, applying best practices for image quality
Qualifications
- MRI registered - required (candidates without this will not be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant MRI or radiology technologist experience
- Required MRI certification and demonstrated competency with MRI procedures
- Preferred experience with Breast MRI procedures
- Familiarity with GE MRI equipment and Cerner EMR is a plus
- Professional, patient-focused demeanor and ability to work rotating weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI contrast and non-contrast imaging protocols
- Proficiency operating GE MRI systems and troubleshooting basic equipment issues
- Comfortable documenting in Cerner or similar EMR systems
- Excellent patient communication and screening for MRI safety
- Understanding of radiology best practices, infection control, and imaging quality standards
