Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient intake, rooming, and clinical procedures
• Perform vital signs, basic clinical tasks, and specimen collection as directed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and update electronic medical records
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure infection control standards, and manage supplies
• Support patient flow and coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant classification (MA) required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or comparable training is preferred
• Willingness to complete the provided two-week training
• Comfort working full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Professional communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• BLS/CPR certification and specific state licensure as applicable are a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to take accurate vital signs and assist with basic clinical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic administrative workflows
• Strong infection control and patient safety awareness
• Good organizational skills and attention to clinical detail
• Patient education and clear communication skills
