Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing team with transfers, mobility, and safe patient handling
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the RN/LPN promptly
• Perform vital signs, basic clinical tasks, and accurate documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
• Support mealtime assistance and basic feeding as needed
• Help ensure dignity and comfort through thoughtful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico or eligible to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly
• Ability to pass required background check and health screenings
• Comfortable providing overnight care and working per diem shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
• Skillful in safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Ability to accurately document care and communicate with the clinical team
• Compassionate bedside manner and attention to individualized care plans
• Time management and ability to prioritize during busy night shifts
