Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the care team
Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and independence
Help with feeding, toileting, and transfers while following safe patient-handling practices
Document resident care in a timely and accurate manner
Support a positive environment by collaborating with nurses, therapists, and family members

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a care team
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient-handling techniques
Basic clinical skills: measuring vital signs, observing patient condition
Proficient with documentation and following care plans
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
