Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, toileting, bathing, and grooming
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Collaborate with nurses and allied health staff to deliver coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — eligible to work in New Mexico
• Completion of an accredited CNA program
• Comfortable working overnight hours and providing hands-on patient care
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong basic patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
• Infection control and safe hygiene practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nursing staff
• Safe patient transfer and ambulation techniques
