Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding)
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Assist nurses with patient transfers and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
• Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support patient comfort and emotional needs with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Valid state CNA license in California (or eligible to obtain) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required where applicable
• Comfortable assisting with patient transfers and basic clinical tasks
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care and safety practices
• Proficient in measuring and recording vital signs
• Understanding of infection control and proper PPE use
• Strong observational skills to notice patient condition changes
• Good documentation and basic charting skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication
