Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients and families
Perform thorough assessments and develop nursing plans that make a difference
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care clearly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Monitor clinical status and escalate concerns to providers in a timely way
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions and follow-up
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the facility charting system

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
Active nursing license and up-to-date immunizations and TB screening
Ability to work per diem shifts, adapt quickly, and integrate into existing teams
Clear background check and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
