Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the MST unit
Assess, monitor, and interpret patient status including telemetry when applicable
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to implement patient plans
Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
Document care thoroughly and timely in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred or as applicable
Previous medical-surgical and/or telemetry experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to complete facility-specific onboarding and competency requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
IV medication administration and safe medication practices
Excellent patient assessment and clinical judgment
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record documentation
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
Time management and the ability to multitask under pressure
