Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on CNA care during 12-hour day shifts, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes clearly to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and fall prevention
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Support a positive, team-oriented environment and advocate for resident needs
Follow infection control and facility safety protocols consistently

Qualifications

Valid California CNA license (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required per facility policy
Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour day shifts; prior skilled nursing or long-term care experience a plus
Ability to pass background check and maintain up-to-date immunizations
Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living assistance and basic nursing care
Skill with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
Ability to recognize and escalate changes in resident condition
Customer-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills
