Shift Type: Rotating (day & night): Initial mid shift 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM for the first several weeks, then Dayshift Saturday–Monday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; typical coverage also includes Tuesday–Friday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Includes backup weekend call coverage one-in-five weekends (Fri 11:30 PM - Mon 7:00 AM). Shift type: rotating (day_night).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for inpatient, emergency department and outpatient patients using the GE Optima 660
• Start IVs when needed on dayshifts and assist with contrast administration according to protocol
• Operate PACS (McKesson) and document studies in EPIC to ensure accurate, timely charting
• Collaborate with radiologists on-site (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) and communicate findings clearly when needed
• Maintain patient safety and dignity, following BLS and ARRT standards at all times
• Support department flow by working with the dedicated transporter and other team members to keep scans moving
• Provide dependable backup call coverage as scheduled and respond professionally when coverage is needed

Qualifications

• WA license required at time of submittal
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Proven IV placement skills (days may assist with IV starts)
• Must provide own Rad Badge
• Minimum ~2 years of CT technologist experience preferred (as listed)
• Comfortable using EPIC and McKesson PACS and working on GE Optima 660
• Willingness to work variable/rotating shifts and participate in scheduled call coverage

• In-depth knowledge of CT imaging protocols for inpatient, ED and outpatient settings
• Experience with GE Optima 660 scanner operation
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS image management
• Strong IV placement and contrast administration technique
• Ability to prioritize cases in a busy acute-care (Level 4) environment
• Clear communication with radiologists, tech leads and multidisciplinary teams
