Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care and observations clearly in patient charts or EHR
• Communicate effectively with nurses, patients, and family members to enhance care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift and stand for extended periods
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic patient care: bathing, feeding, toileting, and grooming
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
• Comfortable with basic charting and following care plans
• Strong observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns promptly
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
