Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Tuesday, 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM (Evening/Night 12-hour shifts; every other week scheduling may apply). Facility also uses 8-, 10- and 12-hour shift options (specific schedule provided during interview).
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to patient safety and image accuracy
- Operate and troubleshoot Philips iPatient 64 and big bore 16 CT scanners during procedures
- Provide fluoroscopy and C-arm assistance in the OR and support emergent imaging in the ER
- Deliver compassionate patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Document exams and patient information accurately in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams; respond to trauma and on-call needs
- Maintain radiation safety protocols and equipment cleanliness to protect patients and staff
- Be a self-starter who adapts quickly in a fast-paced radiology environment
Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist — ARRT (CT) verification required
- Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience (Rad Tech II must have CT experience)
- BLS (AHA) current certification required
- Fluoroscopy certification/authorization per California state requirements
- COVID vaccination certification as required by the facility
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
- Experience in OR/ER settings and Level II trauma exposure preferred
- Able to work evenings, nights, holidays and variable call as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven expertise in CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
- Experience with Cerner EMR for charting and imaging documentation
- Hands-on operation of Philips iPatient 64 and big bore 16 CT systems
- Fluoroscopy and C-arm use in surgical/OR environments
- Strong trauma imaging workflows and ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced clinical settings
- Radiation safety knowledge and adherence to state regulations
