Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Provide compassionate patient care: screen, prepare and position patients for scans
• Follow established MRI safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Perform Trinity specialty competency tasks and complete required skills checklists
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with radiology team members and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Participate in required testing and verification (licenses, immunizations, drug screen)

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Valid state license/certification for MRI technologist (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Willingness and ability to complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing
• Compliance with required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, influenza, Varicella, PPD/IGRA, fit test, physical/health statement)
• Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen and color vision testing
• Availability to work weekend night shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven familiarity with MRI equipment operation and image acquisition
• Strong understanding of MRI safety principles and patient screening
• Competence in patient positioning and providing clear patient instructions
• Accurate documentation and ability to follow established protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
