Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging studies such as HIDA, VQ, bone, renal, thyroid, gastric emptying, GI bleed, and cardiac scans
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and monitor patient responses before, during, and after procedures
- Operate and maintain Siemens Symbia equipment to ensure reliable image acquisition
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using Cerner and unit charting processes
- Prepare and inject sentinel node and perform lymphoscintigraphy with attention to sterile technique and patient comfort
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize imaging protocols and patient care
- Respond professionally to weekend call responsibilities and provide consistent coverage when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine License required to submit
- ARRT (N) or CT-NMTCB certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of hospital nuclear medicine experience
- Experience with Siemens Symbia imaging systems
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred
- No first-time travelers; prior hospital travel/contract experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radionuclide imaging principles and radiopharmaceutical administration
- Proficient in image acquisition, processing, and quality control for multiple study types
- Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and providing compassionate patient care
- Experience with HIDA, VQ, bone, renal, GI bleed, cardiac, gastric emptying, thyroid, and lymphoscintigraphy studies
- Ability to follow radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with clinical staff
