Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts — 3x12 schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating weekends, every-other-holiday; 12-hour on-call after shift (Days, rotating)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care across populations from neonates to geriatrics
- Perform routine respiratory treatments and assist with ABG sampling and EKGs
- Support neonatal care including assistance with complicated deliveries and C-sections
- Stabilize trauma and stroke patients for transfer and coordinate safe handoffs
- Operate and troubleshoot high-flow, CPAP/BiPAP systems and a range of ventilator equipment
- Work independently as the sole RT on shift while collaborating with the care team
- Document care accurately in MEDITECH and participate in unit-based quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Current ND state licensure (required)
- RRT or CRT verification (one required)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (acute care preferred)
- Comfortable working independently and covering all hospital areas (ER, med/surg, neonatal)
- Experience with neonatal populations and the ability to assist on deliveries strongly preferred
Education
- Associate degree or diploma in Respiratory Therapy (or equivalent)
- RRT or CRT credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with MEDITECH charting
- Experience with Airvo, PB 840 and PB 980 ventilators, Hamilton G-5, LVT 1200 portable vents, V-60 (Respironics), and BirdBlenders
- Skilled in ABG sampling, routine treatments, and basic EKG assistance
- Ability to manage care in a Critical Access/Level IV trauma environment
- Comfortable with team and block scheduling models and rotating weekend coverage
