Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently to community patients
• Support outpatient pharmacy workflow and assist pharmacists with patient-facing services
• Prepare and document discharge medications for bedside delivery
• Administer immunizations (or assist with immunization processes) and support medication therapy management
• Use Epic Willow Ambulatory to process prescriptions, manage records, and coordinate care
• Maintain inventory, perform quality checks, and follow sterile compounding procedures when required
• Deliver excellent customer service—educate patients and answer medication questions with compassion
• Adhere to regulatory, safety, and pharmacy practice standards to protect patients and the team

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician License required upon submission
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience required
• Outpatient/retail pharmacy experience preferred (Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS, etc.)
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Immunization administration experience a plus
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Pharmacy Technician course completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of prescription dispensing and retail pharmacy operations
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflow, medication therapy management, and discharge processes
• Proficiency with Epic Willow Ambulatory or similar pharmacy/EMR systems
• Attention to detail, excellent communication, and patient-facing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and the broader care team
• Basic sterile compounding knowledge and safe handling of medications
