Shift Type: Variable days (per diem), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support safe transfers and ambulation while following care plans
- Document care activities and observations clearly in the chart
- Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent care
- Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; New Jersey certification preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic clinical tasks
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related setting is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient care fundamentals and ADLs
- Ability to take and document vital signs and observations
- Basic infection control practices and safety precautions
- Patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Time management and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
