Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM (10-hour nights) + on-call (2 shifts/month, 30-minute response)

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray exams using GE 128 and Siemens 64 CT systems
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment and portable imaging (OEC C-arm, Carestream portables) safely and efficiently
- Ensure patient safety, accurate positioning and radiation protection for every exam
- Respond to on-call requests promptly (30-minute response) and provide continuity of care
- Document imaging studies and patient information accurately in Cerner
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nursing staff and the multidisciplinary care team in an acute care setting
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment checks and routine maintenance reporting
- Provide compassionate patient education and support during imaging procedures
Qualifications
- California Radiologic Technologist License (required)
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications (required)
- Fluoroscopy qualification/authorization required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT/X-ray experience
- Able to meet on-call requirements (2 shifts/month, 30-minute response time)
- Two supervisory references at submittal: one within 12 months and one within 3 years
- Candidates must not have been employed (FT/PT/PRN) by any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI/Dignity) within the past year; PRN employment via outside firms is acceptable
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (associate degree or certificate) preferred
- No BSN required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with GE 128 CT and Siemens 64 CT systems
- Familiarity with GE and Siemens DR rooms, OEC C-arm and Carestream portable units
- Comfortable charting and workflows in Cerner
- Strong patient positioning, image acquisition and radiation safety skills
- Multi-modality imaging experience preferred (CT + X-ray/fluoro)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care/trauma environment
- Dependable on-call response and time-management skills
