Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (day); occasional Friday coverage as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and infusion medications safely and accurately
- Perform IV starts, port access, and central line care with confidence
- Operate and monitor infusion pumps and respond to infusion-related issues
- Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and detect changes in condition promptly
- Provide compassionate patient education on treatments, side-effect management, and self-care
- Document all care and treatments clearly and thoroughly in Cerner EMR
- Coordinate care with oncology providers and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless treatment
- Assist with treatment preparation, chart review, lab order coordination, and insurance authorization
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado license preferred or eligible)
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Current OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner EMR and strong clinical documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and safe handling practices
- Infusion therapy and infusion pump operation
- IV therapy, IV starts, port and PICC access, and central line care
- Patient monitoring, assessment, and early detection of adverse reactions
- Patient education, symptom management coaching, and compassionate communication
- Familiarity with outpatient infusion clinic operations and interdisciplinary coordination
- Insurance authorization workflows, treatment preparation, and lab order coordination
