Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic X‑ray examinations with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Position patients accurately and compassionately to obtain diagnostic images
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper image acquisition and technique
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Document findings and patient encounters clearly in the medical record (EPIC experience helpful)
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and the care team to support patient care
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, stock supplies, and report any issues promptly
• Provide patient education and reassurance to optimize comfort and cooperation during exams

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT (R) — Radiography certification preferred OR current Limited Scope Operator (LSO) registration in Colorado (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — may be obtained upon hire
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Experience or registration in additional imaging modalities is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography and X‑ray imaging fundamentals
• Patient positioning and safe handling
• Image acquisition and quality control
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record
• Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment
