Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, grooming—with dignity and respect
- Provide compassionate personal care and mobility assistance
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through attentive, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in New Jersey)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a CNA or in a caregiving role is a plus
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
- Flexible availability for per-diem shifts, including evenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required

- Basic patient care and personal care techniques
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance practices
- Infection prevention and control procedures
- Accurate documentation and charting
- Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
