Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care settings under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager
- Deliver hands-on patient assessment, ventilator management, airway care, and critical interventions with attention to safety and best practices
- Train, mentor, and support respiratory therapy personnel across critical care areas to build team capability
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance files are completed and submitted prior to start as required
- Participate in orientation and unit-based processes to promote seamless integration into the care team
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of RRT experience (required)
- Active Oklahoma state respiratory license (required)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care respiratory therapy
- Willingness to complete all compliance requirements one week prior to start
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care respiratory care expertise, including ventilator management and airway support
- Patient care in high-acuity adult, pediatric, and neonatal settings
- Training and mentoring skills to develop RT team members
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Ability to follow facility policies for orientation, scheduling, and compliance
