Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate labor, delivery and postpartum care for mom/baby couplets
- Perform continuous fetal monitoring using OB TraceVue and respond to changes
- Titrate IV drips (e.g., magnesium, oxytocin) safely and per unit protocols
- Manage postpartum pain and medications and support new mothers with recovery
- Collaborate with providers and surgical teams during C-sections, circulating for the baby
- Troubleshoot neonatal respiratory equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, high flow) as needed
- Document patient care accurately in MEDITECH and follow AWHONN guidelines for safe staffing ratios
- Float to assist MSP/ED when required and provide one-to-one patient support
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license (eligible to work in ND)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
- Minimum 2 years of recent labor & delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to titrate drips and manage IV medications
- Experience with fetal monitoring/OB TraceVue and charting in MEDITECH preferred
- Comfort working independently in a rural hospital setting and floating when needed
- Willingness to work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend
Education
- Active RN license; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring and interpretation skills
- Proficiency in postpartum care and newborn assessments
- IV therapy and titration of common obstetric drips
- Familiarity with MEDITECH electronic charting
- Troubleshooting neonatal respiratory support (CPAP/BiPAP/high flow)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and independent decision-making
- Understanding of AWHONN guidelines and safe staffing ratios
