Shift Type: Varied schedule — 3x12-hour day shifts per week (includes weekends), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift; on-call required and float between ER and Main CT

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams using GE VCT 64-slice, GE HD750 and GE Frontier 64-slice systems
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely and document in Epic
- Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed for studies
- Follow and execute stroke protocols efficiently to support time-sensitive care
- Float between the ER and Main CT to meet patient needs and department priorities
- Respond to on-call requests and provide reliable coverage when scheduled
- Adhere to radiation safety practices and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with trauma imaging and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level II trauma center
Qualifications
- ARRT-CT certification required
- ARRT-R certification required
- Current Washington state radiologic technologist license (must be valid)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year CT experience (Note: first-time travelers must have at least 2 years CT experience)
- GE scanner experience within the last year (VCT 64, HD750, Frontier 64 preferred)
- Epic charting experience required; Philips PACS experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience and stroke protocol efficiency required
- Willingness to take call, work weekends, and float between ER and Main CT
Education
- ARRT accreditation in CT (CT registry)
- Current Washington state radiologic technologist license
- BLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging and advanced post-processing (MPR, 3D rendering, ROI measurements)
- Contrast media preparation/administration and IV skills
- Familiarity with PACS systems (Philips preferred) and Epic charting
- Experience with vascular CTA, coronary CTA, PET CT, CT arthrography and special procedures
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking and problem-solving in high-volume settings
- Ability to follow hospital policy, use KRONOS for timekeeping, and adhere to unit protocols
- Radiation safety and infection control / isolation precautions knowledge
- Comfort working with all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
