Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients, ensuring safe, compassionate outcomes
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and ongoing health management
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic to support team communication and continuity
• Lead and collaborate with ancillary staff and interdisciplinary teams to maintain professional standards
• Float to other units as needed, adapting to varied patient ratios and acuity levels
• Maintain compliance with all medical/occupational health requirements and facility policies
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by modeling professional behavior and traveler dress expectations

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license in-hand at profile upload (Compact allowed) — NH license must be uploaded; facility will not pend license
• Minimum 2+ years medical-surgical (Med-Surg) nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven Epic EMR experience
• Own reliable vehicle and include permanent address in profile (local travelers—within 50 miles—will not be considered)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Completed skills checklist for Medical-Surgical (current to within 1 year) and full work history in profile

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med-Surg clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Proficiency with Epic charting and documentation workflows
• Patient and family teaching techniques for adult-geriatric populations
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and lead within interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to float between units and manage higher patient ratios when required
• Familiarity with infection control, medication administration, and emergency response protocols
